Committee Meeting Tonight, Feb 18

Upcoming outings - Oct & Nov

The troop has a couple of outings scheduled for October and November:

On October 19-21, we will be camping at Desoto State Forest in Mississippi. We discussed the plans for this trip at the 8/15 meeting. See you SPL or scoutmaster for details if you haven't made plans to attend.

On November 2-4, we plan to camp and attend the Blue Angels homecoming air show. Final details have not been determined; we will discuss further at the 8/22 meeting.

Fort Morgan Trip Scheduled for February 24-26

We'll be going to Fort Morgan in February! This will be the weekend after Mardi Gras. This time we plan to stay in Battery Dearborn. Details at the next couple of troop meetings.

Caving Trip - July 15-18, 2011

Troop 85 will be leaving Mobile at 12:30PM from the church for our north Alabama caving trip. Howard has distributed permission forms and gear checklists -- please see an adult leader if you need the documents!

Fort Morgan Trip - February 4th-6th

Troop 85's annual trip to Fort Morgan will be February 4-6, 2011. Details will be forthcoming. We will have the option this year of camping inside the fort instead of our usual location at Battery Dearborn.

Christmas Party

Our Christmas party will be held next Monday night, December 20th. Please bring a snack item to share and a dirty santa present!

Angel Tree Shopping - December 6th
